Coordination, not a seller or broker
Buying Circle facilitates expressions of interest, quote comparison and communication between authorized buyer representatives. It does not sell goods, hold funds, guarantee discounts, verify sellers, or enter purchase contracts on behalf of buyers. No purchase or financing commitment is created by joining a circle or recording a quote.
Buyer and agent responsibilities
Agents must have permission from the buyer they represent and provide accurate specifications and timing. One account represents one buyer in a circle. Every buyer must independently verify the seller, item, availability, fees, warranties and written agreement. Group counts are expressions of interest, not guaranteed attendance or completed purchases.
Discounts and buying day
A target percentage is a negotiation goal. An offer recorded by an agent is not independently verified or accepted by all buyers. A discount becomes applicable only under the seller’s written conditions. Coordinate a shared visit and attend together where the seller requires group attendance. Each buyer contracts and pays directly with the seller and may decline terms before entering a contract.
Platform responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the platform disclaims responsibility for seller performance, cancellations, availability, group attendance, buyer-seller disputes or claimed savings. These terms do not waive rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Any terms required for a public commercial launch should be reviewed for the markets and categories served.
Private group communication
Group messages are available to signed-in group members and the authorized agents operating as those members. They are not end-to-end encrypted. Do not post payment credentials, identification documents or sensitive buyer information. API tokens authorize actions as their issuing account and may be revoked.
Businesses and food purchases
Business registration is self-declared and does not establish verified ownership, licensing or partnership. The circle organizer chooses which business receives purchase specifications. Sellers cannot access private buyer group messages. Pantry interests are expressions of demand; they do not reserve stock. Verify food variety, pack weight, allergens, sealed packaging, best-before dates, storage and total price before contracting with the food business.
Google Maps lookup
Optional Google Places search uses Google Maps data transiently with attribution. A directory listing does not establish participation on this platform. Your business search query is sent to Google when you choose that lookup. Please review Google Maps terms and Google privacy policy.
Optional analytics
Analytics start only when you select Allow analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures traffic and page performance under the Cloudflare privacy policy. Our own counters record only a public page category, event type, day and count. They do not record form values, email addresses, private messages or error text. Counters are limited and expire after 90 days, with older rows removed on the next recorded event. You can change your choice using the analytics control at the bottom of the page. Operational records needed to run your circles remain separate.
